Group Music Classes
Our group classes are designed to introduce young children to music and develop rhythmic and aural skills, singing, and speech.
During the course of these classes, the children will:

sing popular nursery rhymes

play on desk bells
-
get introduced to various instruments, such as tambourine, triangle, xylophone, maracas, wood sounder, hand cymbals, wrist bells, shaker eggs, and bell stick

practice rhythmic exercises

learn about musical timbre (high, middle, and low sounds) and dynamics (loud & soft)
-
play as an ensemble and solo
-
learn finger numbers and play several melodies on piano (4 - 7 age class only)
All of these concepts and exercises will be presented in a playful environment, to ensure that children's first musical experience is positive and fun. Classes will be held once a week for an hour in small groups (maximum 5 students). All materials and instruments are provided by the studio.
Group classes can be beneficial because it does not only build musical skills for your child but also encourages confidence and character through healthy competition and collaboration. Group classes also require peer interaction and communication, which encourage teamwork between students.
Tuition: $390 per semester Early bird special until August 1st: $340
Registration fee: $20 (non-refundable)
Age 4 - 7 group class meeting time:
Monday 4pm-5pm
